The other features and details included in this edition are also impressive. We were able to trace most of the early Frontier Forts, early Texas railroads, and even counties and towns from that era. It’s like taking a trip back in time!
But what really caught our attention is the historical significance of this map. It showcases the turbulent period in Texas and the Southwest after the Civil War, including reconstruction, final Indian Wars, and development of long distance transportation.
